Use this event planning guide to plan your school's celebration!

Thank you for participating in our 5th annual art contest! This is a fun way for students in grades k-8 to think creatively about active transportation. Our judges will choose one winner from each grade level, as well as two grand prize winners!

Please download and print our instruction page and distribute it to classroom teachers. Teachers can choose between sending a copy of the instructions home with students, or working on the project in class. Send in your school's submissions on or before January 31st through district mail to:

Safe Routes to School Art Contest

Beaverton Safe Routes to School’s 5th Annual Art Contest is accepting submissions from students in grades K-8! Our theme this year is “See and Be Seen.” We can’t wait to see your art!

Contest directions:

• Draw a picture showing how you can see and be seen as you walk and roll in your neighborhood.
  
• Submission deadline is 1/31/24.
  
• Please use 8 ½ x 11 paper.
  
• Drawings, paintings, and digital art accepted.
• Use lots of colors to catch everyone’s attention.
  
• Limit the number of words on the page.
  
• Include name, grade, and school on the back of your entry.

¡El 5to Concurso Anual de Arte de Rutas Seguras a la Escuela de Beaverton está aceptando presentaciones de estudiantes en los grados K-8! Nuestro tema este año es "Ver y Ser Visto". ¡Estamos ansiosos por ver tu arte!
