Join us in celebrating International Walk + Roll To School Day, our main walk + roll event of the school year, encouraging students to walk, bike, scooter, skateboard, or take the bus to school. This initiative promotes fresh air, exercise, and camaraderie among students while helping keep cars off the road and reducing traffic congestion around schools.
To enhance participation, we’ll track class tallies and award exciting prizes! We’ll also hold a raffle for a brand-new scooter and helmet, generously provided by Safe Routes To School. Let’s work together to make this event a memorable experience that highlights the benefits of active transportation to school!

International Walk + Roll to School Day is coming up on October 9th! Parents, this is a great chance to get your child excited about active transportation. Getting exercise in the fresh air is the best way to get mentally and physically prepared for a day in the classroom. Mark your calendar and plan your route!

Walk + Roll to School Day
International Walk + Roll to School Day is this Wednesday! Make a plan now for how your family will participate: coordinate with a friend for a walk to school, ride bikes as a family, or ask to see if your school will have a Walking School Bus available. Choosing to walk, bike, and bus to school is one of the biggest ways students can help the planet, it's a great way to start the day, and it also happens to be really FUN!

¡El día internacional de caminar y rodar a la escuela es este miércoles! Haz un plan ahora sobre cómo participará tu familia: coordina con un amigo para caminar a la escuela, monta bicicletas en familia o pregunta si tu escuela tendrá un bus escolar caminante disponible.
